Sweet AI Consulting

San Francisco · Bay Area · Established 2026

Not every business problem is an AI problem.

Knowing the difference is most of the work. Sweet AI Consulting helps owners and executives answer the challenge honestly.

I Approach

Knowing when not to use AI

Most engagements begin with questions that sound simple: Should we be using AI? Where? How? The real work is figuring out what the operational problems actually are, before anyone talks about technology. Whether AI might improve a given process is most often a business question, not a technology one. So is how budgets should be allocated, and whether the answer involves AI at all.

The advisor's role is to draw that line clearly enough that the decisions afterward are straightforward and well understood.

The advisor who says “use AI for this” should also be willing to say “don’t use AI for that.”

II Engagements

Where the practice is most useful

Every engagement is different, but the work tends to move through a few recognizable stages:

III Principal

David Hart

David Hart founded Sweet AI Consulting in 2026, drawing on 25+ years of practice in artificial intelligence, including co-founding the OpenCog Foundation, an early effort in the open development of artificial general intelligence research. The practice pairs that technical depth with MBA-level business judgment, applied to the question every owner and executive is now asking: where AI fits in their operation, and where it doesn’t.

The practice serves SMBs, non-profits, and corporate executives across the East Bay, San Francisco, and the Peninsula, with selected remote engagements outside the region.
